Our friendly and welcoming community school is based in South Tottenham, Inner London. Our children bring with them a wide range of personal experiences and many are new learners of English. We wish to appoint an inspiring and effective leader to join our Senior Leadership and Staff Team from September 2019.

The successful applicant will work closely with the HT and DHT in leading on the quality of education including teaching and learning at West Green. As such, you will be an excellent classroom practitioner, leading by example. You will able to coach and encourage staff to be reflective practitioners who always strive towards improvement. You should have experience of successfully leading a core subject area or phase in your current school.

The post will be non-class based, in the first instance, but will carry teaching responsibility as part of the role.

• Effectively use evidence from monitoring of teaching and learning to hold colleagues to account and to improve provision and outcomes for our children
