We are looking for a talented and committed Drama practitioner who will be able to lead the Drama Department. To have the ability to inspire our students and staff. The successful candidate will support in the development and delivery of the Drama curriculum throughout the school, and our extensive extra-curricular Drama offer.

The successful candidate must have experience of teaching across a range of key stages, with the ability to raise student achievement and add value within a Creative Arts curriculum, as well as knowledge and understanding of the current Drama specifications at Key Stage 4. Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching your subject is essential.

Job Description and Person Specification

Lordship Lane Primary School

HEAD OF KITCHEN

Scale 6 (£25,527) – 35 hours per week (7.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday inclusive of daily 30 minute break) – 40 weeks per year

Required as soon as possible

We are looking for a candidate with the experience and ability to develop our catering service, with a passion for food and  innovative approach to enabling the team to deliver an outstanding service.

You will have good communication skills, excellent supervisory skills and the ability to manage a team.  You will also have a passion for food and great customer service.

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for over 500 children and staff and managing all aspects of the kitchen, including health and safety and training & development.

Salary £28,355 to £44,451 plus TLR1a £8,069

We are looking for a SENDCo to join our middle leadership team at Eldon. The SENDCo will work alongside our Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion to deliver the very best outcomes for our children, both in the mainstream and in our Additional Resource Provision for children with autism (ARP).

We are a school moving very quickly from ‘Requires Improvement’ to ‘Good’, therefore we must appoint leaders who:

  • want to be part of a team of leaders who are self-reflective and challenge themselves and each other, daily, to be the absolute best they can be
  • seek to develop innovative teaching and learning strategies to improve outcomes for pupils with SEND
  • work effectively within a large team (we are five form entry)

You will be required to demonstrate that you:

  • are an outstanding practitioner of SEND
  • have a specialist interest and experience in working with children on the Autistic Spectrum
  • have teaching experience across the primary age range
  • have knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
  • are able to liaise with multi agency professionals and undertake the completion of applications for EHCPs
  • excited by pedagogy and want to engage in quality CPD to develop yourself and become the best teacher and leader that you can be
  • able to work alongside and support colleagues both in the ARP and the mainstream
