Haringey schools have a long tradition of supporting each other and forging partnerships beyond our geographical boundaries. No school can be an island and thrive as there is a collective responsibility to the children in our community and beyond. To make school-to-school support work well, all school leaders should aspire to create outward-facing schools who work collaboratively, creating a climate of mutual support and challenge. School collaborations encourage honest and respected relationships with colleagues that challenge long held norms. Leaders and teachers should always champion best practice, strive for equity and improved outcomes for all children and young people.
HEP School-to-School support aims to showcase and share innovation and effective approaches to school improvement, leadership and governance.
We believe it’s through this formal and informal work and collaboration between schools that the education system can be made to work effectively for the children and families it serves.
