We are proud to work with The Black Curriculum to advocate for the teaching of an inclusive curriculum in all HEP schools.
HEP Secondary schools work with The Black Curriculum to perform Curriculum Audits. To date, audits have been undertaken on the English, History and Science curricula.
National Ambassador Scheme
HEP Secondary Schools are participating in The Black Curriculum’s (TBC) National Ambassador Scheme (NAS). The NAS is an online programme for students aged 14 to 18 that gives them the opportunity to advocate for the teaching of Black British history and ongoing work to reform Britain’s National Curriculum.
Through participating in this scheme, students are awarded with an ASDAN accredited certificate and become part of the NAS Network at post-16, that details work placement and professional mentorship opportunities.
