Safeguarding- How do governors fulfil their responsibility to Safeguard and protect their children

Your governing board and school have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of children, according to the statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE). It is highly recommended and good practice that all governors attend safeguarding training to understand what their duties are. This session is highly recommended for all governors and they will gain an understanding threshold of child protection and the latest additional safeguarding concerns , the legislative framework and statutory compliance.
