EARLY YEARS QUALITY PARTNERSHIP OFFER – A WEALTH OF KNOWLEDGE ACROSS THE FOUNDATION STAGE

INTRODUCTION

The Haringey Early Years Partnership consists of the local authority’s Early Years advisors working in collaboration with the Haringey Nursery Schools Consortium and other outstanding Early Years professionals.

Haringey’s team of experienced and respected Early Years advisors have a wealth of knowledge and skills across the Foundation Stage. Through targeted support, challenge and a comprehensive training programme the Early Years Team work with all schools and other childcare providers to support raising standards, improving outcomes and ensuring the highest quality practice for our children and families. The team has a proven record of success and are highly respected throughout the local authority and beyond.

The Nursery Schools Consortium is a partnership of three maintained nursery schools in Haringey with a rich and diverse history of outstanding integrated early years practice. The consortium provides high quality training programmes, teacher training, leadership development and bespoke school-to-school support. Research projects provide opportunities for innovative and collaborative partnerships including links to Middlesex University, Pen Green, Karl-Kuebel Stiftung and Bildungshaus Lurup, Hamburg.

  • Support and advice for the Foundation Stage leader and school leaders
  • Advice on setting targets and areas for development and improvement
  • Opportunities to share good practice
  • Relevant up to date information and knowledge linked to national and local priorities
  • Pre and post Ofsted support
  • Data analysis to identify gaps and targets for improvement
  • 1 visit – half days or a whole day
  • Early Years network meetings
  • Foundation Stage Coordinators meetings – 6 x a year plus 2 whole days training
  • DCPL meetings

Access to Gold Early Years package – including:

  • External training including safeguarding and first aid
Cost:
  • £2000 – 3 form entry school with nursery
  • £1500 – 2 form entry school with nursery
  • £1000 – 1 form entry school with nursery
  • £1000 – 2 form entry school without nursery
  • £1500 – nursery school
  • Bespoke 1 day Inset training – £425
  • 1 day review of Foundation stage – £750 (1 advisory teacher)
  • 2 day EYFS Review and report – £1260 (2 advisory teachers)
  • Coaching and support for new or existing coordinators – £725
  • 1 day – on site observation training for whole team – £425
  • Extra day support – £425
